A Semester of Blogging in Review

After spending some 4 months blogging, I’ve come discover that some strategies work better than others. Overall, I found blogging rather enjoyable over with about 1 update a week, however I feel that working to provide entertaining content more frequently than that would become incredibly stressful on me.

I found the use of WordPress was very easy and manageable, and I have started to use twitter more regularly. However, I tend to only use WordPress for updating my own content, and only use Twitter to see what the people I follow are up to. I found both useful in those cases, but I still feel uncomfortable promoting myself on Twitter as it stands. It’s something I’m going to have to get used to later on.

Even though I may not have been the best at updating and promoting myself, I was given the tools and information on how to do so, which should benefit me in the future when the need to get noticed is more dire. I hope to use more sites to promote myself in the future, but before that I need to be able to produce content worth promoting. Even this blog I felt could have been done better. There are so many games I wish I would have been able to cover, and I would have done an full week just going over the events of EVO 2015. I still might, but probably not. This project was rather fun, but there’s other forms of expression I would rather partake in.
